A publication, not a product.
Maritime APIs is an editorial platform for the people who move the world on the water and the people writing the software that keeps them moving.
It exists because maritime is a data-rich industry whose data rarely moves, and because the gap between what is possible and what is deployed is almost always a knowledge gap rather than a technology one.
Editorial standards
Three rules. Everything else follows.
- No sponsored posts. Ever.
- AI-curated content is labelled as AI-curated and reviewed by a human before publication.
- Where a claim involves a specific number, a citation link is provided.
